Potato prices not in control yet! Task Force raids Ultadanga market

To curb the rapid increase in the price of potatoes in West Bengal, members of the task force conducted a raid on potato traders in the Ultadanga wholesale market this morning. Task force member Rabindranath Kole, accompanied by officers from the Ultadanga police station and Kolkata Police's Enforcement Branch (EB), led the operation.

During the raid, potato traders were questioned about the current prices. Traders found selling potatoes at inflated rates were warned and made aware of the state's pricing guidelines.

Rabindranath Kole emphasized that traders must adhere to the government-regulated prices for potatoes. He warned that the state government would take significant measures against those who do not comply.
