Private buses to go off roads for 72 hours from May 22 as talks with Transport Dept fail | Watch

Private bus unions have called for a strike on the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th of May to press for certain demands. On Tuesday, Transport Department Secretary Saumitra Mohan convened a meeting on behalf of the department in an attempt to avert the strike. However, the meeting ended without any resolution. As a result, the bus unions have refused to withdraw their decision and have confirmed a 72-hour strike starting from May 22.
