Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said development projects worth Rs 32,000 crore by the central and state governments are currently underway for the overall development of Ayodhya.
During his one-day trip to Ayodhya before the media, the Chief Minister also said that when the projects take off in a year, the world will see Ayodhya as the most beautiful city.
“The construction work of the grand temple of Lord Shri Ram at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is progressing on a war footing within the stipulated time frame. Lord Shriram sitting in his temple will bless the country and the world,” Adityanath said.
Maintain quality of work: Yogi Adityanath
Chief Minister Adityanath said that he is overseeing all ongoing development works and that all projects will be completed on time as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Chief Minister also directed that the projects should be completed on time while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Need to do work in three shifts: Yogi Adityanath
The CM said there is a need to work in three shifts and also increase the manpower so that even with two to three months delay due to rains, the development work is completed on time. The Chief Minister also informed that the 'Shri Ram Path' is being constructed to connect the 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi' with the new ghat and then the Lucknow-Ayodhya highway.
Hanumangarhi to Janmabhoomi and Sugriva Fort to Janmabhoomi roads are also under construction, as well as 'Bhaktipath' and 'Janmabhoomi Path', Tedi Bazar and other flyover works and Panchkosiya, 14 Kosiya and 84 Kosiya roads, four lanes and six-lane, multi-level parking. Plans are also in the works to rehabilitate displaced traders.
Tap water to every house under Har Ghar Nal Yojana
Under the Har Ghar Nal Yojana, the CM directed the officials to ensure that water from the Saryu river is treated and safe drinking water is provided to every household.
The master plan includes measures to provide good accommodation to residents, beautify monasteries and temples, and integrate facade lighting and urban facade design.
The airport is to be built by July
Chief Minister Adityanath said the 'Shri Ram International Airport' would be constructed by July. “A big Shri Ram International Airport is being built in Ayodhya with a runway of 3000 meters, apron, terminal building, boundary wall and 791 acres of land as required have already been acquired. There is an action on a war footing for 2,200 acres of land,” he said.
