Two more suspects have been arrested in the gruesome murder of two sisters in RK Puram, the Delhi Police said on Monday. They have been identified as Kishan Chaudhary (27) and Ganesh Swamy (39).
A total of 5 people have been arrested in connection with the murder of two sisters. Arjun, Mickel and Dev were earlier arrested in this case.
Delhi Police tweeted: “Two women shot dead in Delhi. 2 more accused, 27-year-old Kishan and 39-year-old Ganesh Swamy, were arrested. A total of 5 have been nabbed so far in connection with the case. Two sisters namely Pinky and Jyoti were shot dead in RK Puram area yesterday by several assailants over a money settlement issue.
Earlier, the dead bodies of two sisters, who were allegedly shot dead early Sunday morning in Delhi's Ambedkar Basti area during a suspected money-fixing case, were taken to their homes. Pinky (30) and Jyoti (29), the two deceased women, were taken to SJ Hospital but succumbed to their injuries, police said.
According to police, more than two dozen men arrived at the victim's house in Ambedkar Basti early Sunday morning. The attackers were looking for the victim's brother Lalit. After Lalit managed to escape, the assailants allegedly shot dead both his sisters on purpose.
