Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the State Bank of India's (SBI) plea to the Supreme Court for an extension until June 30 to submit Electoral Bond details to the Election Commission of India. Gandhi accused PM Modi of attempting to conceal the "donation business," asserting that this move represents the last attempt to mask the Prime Minister's true intentions before the elections.
Rahul Gandhi posted on X, "Narendra Modi has tried his best to hide the 'donation business'. When the Supreme Court has said that it is the right of the countrymen to know the truth about electoral bonds, then why does SBI want this information not to be made public before the elections?"
Asking for time till June 30 for information that can be retrieved with one click shows that there is definitely something fishy," he added.
