Rahul Gandhi unfit for politics, should attend 'pathshala': Bengal BJP leader

After the former Congress president's disqualification as a Member of Parliament, Bengal BJP leader Rahul Sinha suggested that the Congress party send Rahul Gandhi to Pathshala (school) to get a lesson in politics.

The BJP leader stated to the media after attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Man Ki Baat in West Bengal Dumdum, "Congress should first educate Rahul Gandhi. They ought to instruct him in political speaking. He needs to enroll in Pathshaala to learn how to use language in politics, after which he should enter the political arena."

The former state president of the BJP declared Rahul Gandhi unsuitable for politics, saying, "The man who criticized Indian politics on foreign soil, it raises concerns on his political competence. Speaking disparagingly of every Modi (member of the Modi community) in the nation does not demonstrate his political maturity."

Commenting about the support given by the opposition parties to Rahul Gandhi after his disqualification, the BJP leader asserted, "Since Rahul Gandhi has been jolted, now the others are getting united out of fear. But, they cannot combine since they are at odds with one another. Between Congress and TMC, there is a race."

A day after receiving a two-year prison term in a 2019 criminal defamation case from a Surat court, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi was barred from serving as a Lok Sabha member. The Wayanad MP was found guilty of saying that "all thieves share the Modi surname."
