Rajnath Singh inaugurated the prestigious Bharat Drone Shakti-2023 exhibition at the Hindan Air Base in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The event, jointly hosted by the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Drone Federation of India (DFI), provided a platform to showcase the remarkable capabilities of the Indian drone industry. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari also graced the occasion, further emphasizing the significance of this exhibition.
Bharat Drone Shakti-2023 featured live aerial demonstrations, highlighting a diverse range of drone operations and applications by various Indian drone companies. Wing Commander Sonam Bakshi set the stage for these demonstrations, underscoring the importance of innovation in the drone sector with the words, "Wakif kaha zamana hamari udaan se, Wakif kaha zamana hamari udaan se vo aur the, Jo haar gaye aasaman se."

The exhibition showcased the versatility of Indian drones, beginning with a display of compact drone systems that can be carried on motorbikes. These customized motorbikes enable the transportation of unassembled drones, particularly useful for introducing modern agricultural practices in rural areas.
Furthermore, attendees witnessed drones with impressive capabilities, capable of carrying payloads ranging from 50kg to 100kg. The event also featured a Kamikaze drone, exemplifying the evolving technological prowess of the Indian drone industry.
