Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has once again taken aim at the BJP, voicing his disapproval of the political discourse surrounding the inauguration of the Ram Temple. During his visit to Murshidabad on Saturday, Chaudhary emphasized that Lord Ram symbolizes the entire country and should not be entangled in political maneuvering. He expressed concern that the Ram Temple, which holds cultural and religious significance, is gradually becoming a political issue. Chaudhary stressed the importance of keeping Lord Ram out of the realm of politics, asserting that such politicization is inappropriate.
Chaudhary reiterated his belief that Lord Ram is a symbol for all countrymen, transcending religious boundaries. However, when questioned about the invitation for the proposed inauguration of the Ram Temple on January 22, he opted not to respond. Chaudhary also criticized the Narendra Modi government and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on the Kashmir issue, accusing them of not fulfilling promises related to Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
Additionally, he addressed the political landscape in West Bengal, responding to questions about Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Congress, emphasizing the readiness of Congress to contest elections against any opposition, including the NDA.
