Ramgarh’s Patratu Lake Resort is gearing up to welcome delegates for the G-20 summit likely to be scheduled for March 2023. Foreign delegates coming to Jharkhand will stay at Patratu Lake Resort. To provide all kinds of facilities, the state tourism department and Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation (JTDC) are putting finishing touches to the four-storey VVIP guest house.
On Thursday, a committee of senior officials from Delhi and Ranchi visited Patratu Lake Resort to review and monitor preparations for the arrival of G-20 delegates for the Ranchi summit. They toured the new VVIP guest house being built at the Lake Resort. At the same time, a meeting was held with representatives of the state government. Officials here also received information about the dam and boats.
Rajkumar Sharma, senior team officer at the Government of India's Ministry of Science and Technology, said the summits would also be held in Ranchi. Foreign delegates from 20 countries will interact with the art, culture and folk traditions of Jharkhand. Preparations are underway in this direction as well. The folk art and culture of Jharkhand has a special significance which makes it popular in foreign countries.
