Residents of the Dharsa area in Jagachha, Howrah, have been suffering from a monkey menace for several days. A major incident occurred on Tuesday night. On Tuesday night, a monkey attacked around fifteen people in the Jagachha area of Howrah. According to local residents, a group of monkeys frequently enters the area, biting and scratching people.

The residents reported that a deranged monkey attacked around fifteen people in the Dharsa area of Jagachha, Howrah, on Tuesday night. One of the victims, a housewife, was bitten on the hand by the monkey and had to be admitted to a hospital in Kolkata. Upon receiving the news, forest department officials arrived at the scene.

However, they have not yet been able to capture the aggressive monkey. They have laid a food trap at the location before leaving. Meanwhile, the failure to capture the monkey has left the residents anxious. They are patrolling the area in concern.
