Ranbir and Dada spotted together at Eden Gardens; Biopic begins!

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, is currently in Kolkata to promote his much-awaited film.

The actor is promoting the film at Eden Gardens with former Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly. In the now-viral picture, they can be seen all smiles as they discuss something amid the film's promotional activities.

Ranbir and Ganguly, fondly called Dada, are also seen wearing t-shirts with a reference to the film. Several other people are also seen wearing "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar" printed T-shirts. The photo was shared by several fan pages on social media platforms.

Ranbir to play Dada in his biopic?

A few days ago, it was reported that Ranbir is all set to play the role of Sourav Ganguly in his biopic. He has been locked for the title role, and the shooting of the film will begin once Ganguly gives his nod to the script.

The other actors have not yet been finalized by the makers. It was also reported that cricketer MS Dhoni will also play a small role in the biopic. However, the makers have not confirmed or officially announced anything yet.

In September 2021, Ganguly confirmed that a biopic on his life was in the works. He also confirmed the news on social media with the caption "Let's get this ball rolling".

Ranbir's upcoming projects

Ranbir is all set to make a comeback to the romcom genre with 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' which is scheduled to release on Holi. The film will see him sharing the screen with Shraddha Kapoor for the first time

Apart from this, Ranbir also has 'Animal' released on his label. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna.
