Ranbir Kapoor recalls being asked to make will before Raha’s birth: ‘Started getting fearful’

Ranbir Kapoor, who welcomed his first child Raha with Alia Bhatt last year, has revealed how his Chartered Accountant (CA) came to him asking if he wanted to write a will, which left him 'scared'.

In an interview last year, the actor spoke about the legacy of the Kapoor family. “I think legacy is something you only realize when you retire. It’s too early to… I know my CA came to me a few months ago and asked me, ‘Should we make a will?’ I was like, ‘Will?’ I started to worry that I was going to die? Why would I make a will at this age?,” he said.

The actor said at the time that all he could think about was the excitement and anticipation of welcoming a child and becoming a father. The actor added that he wanted to take one day at a time and enjoy the present without worrying too much about the future. “The truth is, you don't think about all these things. Right now I'm just thinking about the excitement of having a baby, living life with him, what I'm going to be and what it's going to be like," he added.

Kapoor and Bhatt tied the knot in April last year and welcomed their daughter in November. Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will next be seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar opposite Shraddh Kapoor. The Luv Ranjan directorial will be released in theaters on March 8.

The actor was last seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva opposite actor and wife Bhatt. The film was a box office hit.
