Ranveer Singh was announced by Experience Abu Dhabi as the official ambassador on Tuesday. The 37-year-old actor will promote tourism in Abu Dhabi by sharing his holiday experiences and inviting Indian travelers to enjoy various activities in their dream destination.
Singh was featured in Abu Dhabi's new summer campaign film 'One Summer Is Not Enough' to announce their two-year partnership, which was released as a joint post on both accounts. The caption for the video read: “One summer is not enough! Where would you go first #InAbuDhabi?"
Arjun Kapoor reacted under the post and wrote, "most beautiful looking man... & u baba". One social media user also reacted and wrote, "Ranveer and his dad (fire emoji)". Another user wrote: "Wherever you go, I want to be there." A fan user wrote: “Daddy B is so handsome, cool and dignified. That must be a special experience for you!” The user welcomed Dubai and wrote: "Habibi come to Abu Dhabi."
Commenting, Singh revealed that shooting for the campaign was the most fun he's had behind the camera. The Padmaavat actor has called Dubai his second home. He said: "Now I have the opportunity to share with the world what is so special." The actor also revealed that he discovers something new every time and leaves with 'countless memories and a strong desire to return'. Ranveer called Abu Dhabi "a vacation trip that everyone must experience," he concluded.
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt. The shooting of the film wrapped in March and is slated to hit theaters on July 28, 2023.
