Muzaffarpur hospital blaze kills 3 patients, leaves 20 injured
Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar’s spy action thriller Dhurandhar has scripted history at the overseas box office by becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood film in North America. The film has overtaken Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan in the region, marking a major milestone in its successful theatrical run.
By the end of its fourth Tuesday, Dhurandhar crossed the $17.50 million mark in North America, narrowly surpassing Pathaan, which had earned $17.49 million. While the film now tops the Bollywood list in the region, it currently ranks as the third highest-grossing Indian film there, behind Baahubali 2 and Kalki 2898 AD.
Despite facing a ban in several Gulf countries and Pakistan, which impacted its potential earnings, Dhurandhar has found strong audience support elsewhere. Backed by sustained word-of-mouth, the film has gone on to collect over ₹1,100 crore worldwide, reinforcing its status as one of the biggest commercial successes in recent years.
