In a noteworthy recognition, Shah Rukh Khan's latest film, 'Dunki,' addressing the issue of immigration, is set to be screened at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The special screening, organized today as per a statement from the film's team, highlights the significance of the movie's narrative on the challenges of immigration. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 'Dunki' draws attention to the arduous journeys migrants undertake, often referred to as "donkey journeys."
Starring Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar, the film was released on December 21, garnering attention on the internet. Despite receiving mixed reviews, 'Dunki' has reportedly accumulated ₹74.82 crore at the domestic box office.
