Reckless luxury car rams vehicles near New Market, driver detained

A speeding luxury car crashed into a parked taxi and an app cab near New Market early this morning, creating chaos in the area. According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was moving recklessly and barely missed hitting an elderly pedestrian. As it attempted to flee towards Market Street, an angry crowd stopped the car and vandalized it before police arrived. Law enforcement from New Market police station reached the scene, brought the situation under control, and took both the driver and the vehicle into custody.

Officials confirmed that the driver’s identity is yet to be disclosed, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash. Police are examining whether the driver was under the influence or if mechanical failure was involved. The impact caused temporary traffic congestion, but authorities cleared the area swiftly. Eyewitnesses reported significant damage to the affected vehicles. No injuries have been reported so far.
