Reckless speeding caused seven deaths and six injuries in multiple road accidents across Bihar

Bihar's roads turned deadly over the weekend as reckless speeding sparked a wave of horrific crashes, claiming seven lives and leaving six others battling for recovery in hospitals. From the bustling highways of Chhapra to the quiet lanes of Darbhanga and beyond, drivers lost control in a chain of tragedies that started early today and stretched into the night. Angry villagers blocked roads in fury, demanding justice, while police scrambled to seize vehicles and probe the chaos. These accidents aren't just numbers – they're stories of young lives cut short, like a 22-year-old heading to a village gathering, or families torn apart due to the terrible incidents

In Chhapra, the morning rush on NH 722 turned fatal twice over. Near Jasosati in Gadakha, an speeding unknown vehicle smashed into an auto-rickshaw, killing two passengers instantly and injuring four more who were rushed to nearby clinics. Not far away, in Maker's Fulwaria, a truck plowed over a biker, sparking a massive roadblock by grieving locals who pelted stones until cops arrived. Darbhanga saw three more deaths in separate high-speed mishaps, though details remain hazy as families mourn in silence. Over in Bettiah's Ramnagar-Lauriya road, 22-year-old Mo Irshad from Bishunpurwa village died when the car he was driving flipped today midnight; his three friends fled injured, leaving police to handle the grim postmortem at Bagaha Hospital.

The nightmare didn't stop there. In Banka, near Bharako Petrol Pump, two vehicles collided during a wedding procession, hurling a young man to the ground with severe wounds – he's now fighting for life after transfers between health centers. Araria's four-lane roads added to the toll with two bike crashes: one near the toll plaza left three women critically hurt after an auto-rickshaw rammed them; another saw a youth flung off his bike near Gaiyari, landing him in Sadar Hospital. As postmortems confirm the dead and treatments continue for the wounded,
