Various diseases including smallpox are expanding their areas in the city due to the difference in day and night temperature. Children, old people come in the grip of chicken pox. This infection usually remains in the body for two weeks after the sick person recovers.

Chief Medical Officer Alok Ranjan said that chicken pox is an infectious disease. If the patient was in the grip of a fever, he should be treated. According to Deputy District Immunization Officer Dr. Jasbira Singha chicken pox is one of the common diseases occurring in summer which is also called 'Badi Maata' in common parlance. It is transmitted by coughing, sneezing, skin-to-skin contact, or from a pregnant woman to her baby.

Its price is 1500 to 2500 rupees. Senior pediatrician Shiv Kumar said chicken pox was caused by the Varicella gaster virus. This disease affects both children and adults. It spreads from winter to summer. A person or a child whose immunity is weak, only they will fall into its grip. If the victim does not receive timely treatment, he may be at risk of encephalitis.
