A woman in Bihar’s Munger district has landed in legal trouble after her Rose Day celebration video with her husband went viral on social media. The clip showed her gifting roses followed by a bottle and glass of wine, which drew police action as alcohol remains prohibited in the state.
Police said an investigation team was formed soon after the video surfaced online, and a raid was conducted at her residence. During the probe, officials also examined another video in which the woman was seen posing with a pistol.
Authorities found that the weapon belonged to a local resident identified as Vishal Kumar. A case has been registered against both individuals, citing public display of weapons and promotion of alcohol as serious offences under state law.
Police confirmed further legal action is underway while the investigation continues.
