Salim Khan's family bonds stronger over time, Arbaaz Khan describes stepmother Helen as "Inseparable"

Veteran writer and actor Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, was married to Salma Khan when he fell in love with actress and dancer Helen. Apart from the 'Tiger' actor, Salim and Salma are also parents to three other children, Arbaaz, Sohail, and Alvira. However, the family dynamic changed after Salim married Helen and created some differences. However, as time has progressed, the families live happily even today. In a recent interview, Arbaaz Khan revealed that his father Salim, mother Salma, and step-mother Helen are now "inseparable".

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Arbaaz revealed that Salim gave Helen a new space in the family, saying, “He knew that for these children, their mother is very important and I have another woman in my life, but she has her own space. She never tried to separate us either. She was just happy that there was someone in her life who would be there for her, and she knew that she had her own family, a wife, and children, and she didn't want to disturb that.'

The filmmaker-producer also revealed how Salma reacted to the situation as it was 'difficult' for her. He said: “She dealt with it in her way because... Whatever their reasons were for things to continue. Whether it was the kids or the circumstances or just the fact that you felt like it was okay, it happened, but now I still need to be with this man, or he felt I still needed to be with this woman.'

The actor said the siblings saw adults go through their struggles and said, "They could handle it."

But as time went on, the dynamic changed again and now they are a happy family. “Today my dad is holding mom's hand and sitting…so beautiful. He keeps calling her and making her sit next to him, so it looks beautiful… all this,” he said.

Helen revealed in one of her earlier interviews that she "never wanted to be separated from the family" and credited Salma for keeping everyone together.
