The Patna district administration on Wednesday imposed Section 144 in Jethuli village, which has been witnessing violence for the past two days.
Numerous police officers were deployed to restore peace. Villagers were asked to stay at home and only step out of their homes for essential work.
The violence in Jethuli has claimed three lives so far, two others are fighting for their lives in hospital.
The dispute erupted after a parking issue and then took a major turn after two groups clashed with guns and ammunition. At least 50 rounds were fired during the deadly encounter.
