Several people were injured on September 3 in Bihar's Saran district when a dilapidated shed collapsed during the Mahavir Akhara procession in the Ishauvpur block. The incident occurred as people stood on the shed, watching dance performances.
The injured were quickly taken to a government hospital in the district for treatment. A video of the incident showed the crowd plummeting as the shed gave way.
This incident follows another in Patna last month, where a wall collapse during a religious function injured at least 40 people.
