'Jo Ram Ko Laye Hain' singer Kanhaiya Mittal to join Congress
Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan has traveled to Switzerland for the 77th Locarno Film Festival, where he will be honored with the prestigious Pardo alla Carriera Award. The award ceremony is scheduled for August 10 at Piazza Grande and will recognize Shah Rukh’s remarkable contributions to global cinema throughout his 30-year career, featuring over 100 films.
In addition to receiving the award, Shah Rukh will engage in a public conversation at Cinema GranRex on August 11. Due to overwhelming demand, the event has been moved to a larger venue and will be live-streamed to allow fans worldwide to participate.
To celebrate his legacy, the festival will also hold a special screening on August 10. This honor comes after Shah Rukh's triumphant return to the big screen with blockbuster films like Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki following a four-year hiatus.
The Pardo alla Carriera Ascona-Locarno award has previously been bestowed upon film legends such as Claudia Cardinale and Harry Belafonte.
