Shah Rukh Khan proudly embraces bias as Suhana Khan prepares for film debut in "The Archies"

Actor Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan is all set to finally make her film debut with Zoya Akhtar's upcoming film The Archies on Netflix. Ahead of the release, Shah Rukh wished the team all the best. He also shared his feelings as a proud father in his recent 'Ask Me Anything' session on Twitter,

Shah Rukh took to Twitter and wrote, “Okay 15 minutes #AskSRK because we all need our 15 minutes of acting.” One of his fans asked him, “Archies is coming to Netflix. How do you feel as a proud father?"

When asked, Shah Rukh said, "Father's bias and excitement will always be there, but I'm actually looking forward to Zoya Akhtar's film." Moments before the Q&A round began on the microblogging site, Shah Rukh also shared a new poster of The Archies.

Suhana Khan's first film The Archies is an Indian adaptation of the popular comic book series. Talking about reading Archie comics as a child, SRK tweeted, “I remember when I was young (millions of years ago) I pre-booked Archie’s Digest to rent. Nostalgia. I hope Big Moose is in the movie too! All the best to the entire cast and love.”

Suhana is the only daughter and middle child of Shah Rukh and his interior designer wife Gauri Khan. He has an elder brother Aryan Khan who is an entrepreneur and is also working on his first series as a writer and director. 

The Archies also stars the late Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor's daughter Khushi Kapoor and Agastya Nanda, the grandson of Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, and the son of Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda. Khushi and Agastya will also be introduced in the Hindi film industry with a Netflix film.

The Archies is produced by Tiger Baby Films, which is co-owned by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. Apart from the star kids, the project also stars Vedang Raina, Dot, Mihir Ahuja and Yuvraj Menda. It is scheduled for release this year.
