Allu Arjun gets interim bail by high court in Pushpa 2 stampede case
Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly received a death threat over a phone call, leading Mumbai Police to initiate a swift investigation. According to Times Now, Khan was threatened in a call made by a man identified as Faizan, a resident of Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The case has been registered at Bandra Police Station under sections 308(4) and 351(3)(4) of the Bombay Non-Cognizable Offences (BNS) Act, which pertains to criminal intimidation and threats to life and safety.
A Mumbai Police team has been dispatched to Raipur to investigate the caller’s motives and gather further details. Security measures around Khan, who was already under Y+ security since October 2023, have reportedly been intensified as a precautionary measure. The actor had been provided Y+ security earlier this year after receiving threats following the blockbuster successes of his films Pathaan and Jawan, which both enjoyed massive box office success.
The latest incident comes at a time when Khan is preparing for the release of his upcoming projects. Police are pursuing the case seriously, with sources indicating that they are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the actor’s safety. As of now, Khan’s team has not made an official statement, but close associates have shared that he remains focused on his work despite the threats.
Khan’s Y+ security arrangement, granted by the Maharashtra government, includes several armed personnel around him at all times, as well as enhanced safety protocols at his residences and on film sets. Mumbai Police have assured that necessary measures will be taken to prevent any further incidents and that the investigation will be thorough.
