Shahrukh, Salman, Priyanka, other Bollywood stars stand united in grief after Pahalgam terror attack

The heartbreaking terror attack at Pahalgam has left not just the nation but also Bollywood in deep anguish. Prominent stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Priyanka Chopra voiced their sorrow and anger as they mourned the 26 innocent lives lost to terrorism.

Shah Rukh Khan took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his pain. "Words fail to express the sadness and anger at the treachery and inhumane act of violence," he wrote. His message emphasized standing united as a nation and seeking justice for the families devastated by the attack.

Salman Khan, too, expressed his outrage. Comparing the killing of an innocent person to the destruction of an entire universe, he wrote, "Kashmir, heaven on planet earth, turning into hell. Innocent people being targeted. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainath ko marne ke barabar hai." His raw words mirrored the collective anguish felt across India.

Priyanka Chopra posted a powerful note on Instagram, condemning the attack and grieving for the families whose peaceful vacations turned into nightmares. "This is not a tragedy we can move past from," she wrote, stressing the need to recognize the human cost behind the headlines.

Other leading stars such as Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif also expressed their condolences. Many demanded that justice be swiftly served, reflecting the anger surging through every corner of the country.

The terror attack took place at Baisaran, a scenic meadow near Pahalgam, where tourists, honeymooners, and families had gathered to soak in Kashmir’s beauty. Terrorists opened fire indiscriminately, killing 26 people, including an Indian Navy officer and an Intelligence Bureau personnel. The Resistance Front (TRF), a proxy group of Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility.

As security forces launched a massive manhunt and helicopters evacuated the wounded, India’s artists, citizens, and leaders stood together — grieving, furious, and demanding that this darkness be fought back with unwavering resolve.
