Sharman Joshi and Sahil Khan first struck gold when they starred in N Chandra's slapstick coming-of-age comedy Style (2001) and then Xcuse Me (2003). Now the hilarious duo is teaming up for the third time to deliver another fun and hilarious film.
According to a tweet by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film will be written and directed by Sam Khan from a script penned by filmmaker-writer Milap Zaveri, who also penned the dialogues.
The film, which is still untitled, will be shot extensively in Abu Dhabi. It is helmed by Hitesh Khushalani and co-produced by Bhuvi Khushalani, Zafar Mehdi and Ishaan Dutta.
In a statement released, Sharman Joshi shared that the film is "all set to roll", expressing his excitement. Sharman added that he and Sahil were appreciated for their chemistry and that Style was his first commercial hit, which led him to bag Raju Hirani's 3 Idiots.
Sahil also expressed his excitement, saying that he has known Sam Khan for a long time and is excited to work with both him and Sharma, whom he called "a great actor and a wonderful person to work with".
The as-yet-untitled film is being produced by White Lion Motion Picture Production.
