Sundarban Development Minister and Sagar Assembly MLA Bankim Chandra Hazra's party office in Rudranagar was destroyed by fire. Many important documents and computers were destroyed in the fire. According to local sources, on Friday, local people saw smoke coming out of Rudranagar Sundarban Development Minister Bankim Chandra Hazra's party office in Gangasagar. Then the fire brigade was informed. A fire brigade reached the spot and controlled the fire after several hours of effort.
According to the fire department, the fire broke out due to a short circuit. Many important documents and computers were burnt to ashes in this fire. Sundarban Development Minister Bankim Chandra Hazra said, "I don't know how the fire started." Local people saw smoke coming out of the party office and called our workers and supporters. As soon as we got the news, our workers and supporters reached the spot and saw that the party office was on fire. Then the fire brigade was immediately called.
