On Sunday, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Path was inaugurated, allowing devotees to have easier access to Ramlala's darshan. The path, which stretches 600 meters in length and approximately 100 feet in width, connects Birla Dharamshala to the court of Ramlala via Sugriva Fort. As the path was opened, devotees enthusiastically chanted "Ramlala," marking a momentous occasion.
Champat Rai, the general secretary of the temple trust, shared that this newly opened path would enable devotees to walk 500 meters less, making the darshan of Ramlala more accessible and convenient. Both the darshan and exit of Ramlala will now take place through this path, enhancing the devotees' spiritual experience.
To further facilitate the devotees, the pilgrimage area at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi now offers free locker facilities. Pilgrims can securely store their valuables, allowing them to carry only essentials to the temple. Additionally, accessible toilets have been constructed to ensure the convenience and comfort of the devotees during their visit.
During the opening ceremony, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai, along with other esteemed members such as Anil Mishra and Vimalendra Mohan Pratap Mishra, were present. The program was graced by the presence of Mayor Mahant Girishpati Tripathi, Former Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay, Commissioner Gaurav Dayal, DM Nitish Kumar, and SSP Raj Karan Nayyar, signifying the significance of the occasion for the devotees and the community at large.
