Shukla Devi, who had been married for 10 years, fell in love with her younger sister-in-law, Soni. The two got married five months ago and started living as a couple. However, on Friday, Soni's elder sister, Usha, came and took her away, causing Shukla to file a police report.
The incident took place in Dharhara village, under the jurisdiction of Rosda police station in the district. Shukla Devi submitted an application to the police station, explaining that she got married in 2013 and has two children. Over time, she fell in love with her sister-in-law, Soni, and they got married. Shukla alleges that her sister-in-law Usha Devi took Soni Kumari away with 10-15 people, which she considers to be a kidnapping.
Shukla and her husband, Pramod, went to the police station to report the matter. Pramod supports Shukla's decision and both express concern over the incident. Meanwhile, the police have confirmed that they are investigating the matter based on Shukla's application.
