Son brutally beaten parents for Rs 13 lakhs in Garia's Narendrapur

In a quiet corner of Garia's Narendrapur Ucchepota area, a parent's unbreakable bond with their son shattered into a nightmare of violence over a staggering 13 lakhs rupees. Gita Sardar & Babu Sardar, duo-vegetable seller has been brutally beaten by their only son Kamalesh Sardar who works as an electrician in a fit of fury when they couldn't repay his demanded money.

What started as a plea for understanding escalated into a brutal assault with Kamalesh beaten so brutally that her mother's head fractured and left father Bablu injured as well. Gita now is admitted in a local hospital. This heartbreaking episode, filed as a formal complaint by the mother against his son at Narendrapur Police Station, underscores the raw pain of elder neglect in Bengal's suburbs, where sacrifices for children often go unrewarded and desperation boils over into despair. 

The roots of this tragedy trace back to a seemingly generous act gone sour. A few days ago, the parents reconstructed their house and at that time, Kamlaesh helped his parents with 3 lakh rupees and currently he is asking for 13 lakh rupees, claims mother Gita Sardar and additionally when she said that it was not possible to give that huge amount of money, Kamalesh attacked her mother and father.The incident has sent ripples of fear and fury in the area. Kamalesh fled the scene before officers could arrive, he remains at large. Bengal Police probe underway.
