Speeding ambulance hits 3 motorcyles kills couple to death in Bengaluru

The chaos unfolded late night on one of the city's bustling zones in Richmond Circle near Wilson Garden, where the ambulance's reckless driver Ashok—now in custody—left a trail of devastation that locals say echoes a prior incident in the same stretch, fueling cries of siren abuse by emergency vehicles zipping empty.

The locals and bystanders quickly helped the ambulance in a desperate bid to free the mangled scooter and the lifeless couple beneath. Bengaluru City Police police wasted no time, registered FIR on the driver as they probe the hospital's role in deploying such a lead-footed chariot without oversight.
