Three young people, including a woman, were killed after a speeding car rammed into a road divider on a railway bridge in Rajkot early Sunday morning. The impact was so intense that the vehicle split into two pieces, with parts flung across opposite sides of the road.
According to preliminary information, four occupants — three men and one woman — were travelling in the car at the time of the accident. Muskan Bagda and Arun Wala died on the spot due to the severity of the collision. Jaideep Chauhan succumbed to injuries during treatment.
The fourth passenger, Amit Parmar, sustained serious injuries and was referred for advanced medical care after initial treatment at a government hospital. The crash led to temporary traffic congestion in the area.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and cleared the road. The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
