A high-speed tourist bus from Bihar was involved in a serious road accident at the GST intersection in IT City, leaving a young online delivery rider critically injured. The incident occurred when the bus allegedly lost control due to excessive speed and struck the rider’s motorcycle.
Following the impact, the young man was thrown onto the road and sustained severe injuries, bleeding profusely. He was rushed to Bidhan Nagar Hospital in critical condition. As his health deteriorated further, doctors referred him to NRS Hospital for advanced treatment.
The accident caused panic in the busy IT City area, with locals gathering at the spot soon after the crash. Traffic movement at the intersection was temporarily disrupted as emergency services worked to clear the area.
Electronic Complex Thana police reached the scene, seized the tourist bus, and arrested the driver. An investigation has been initiated to ascertain the exact circumstances leading to the accident.
