Reconstruction of crime scene in Kasba as probe intensifies in Kolkata college student rape case
A devastating accident took place in Agra on Saturday afternoon when a speeding truck collided with an auto rickshaw on National Highway 19, resulting in the death of five passengers, leaving one person injured.
The collision occurred near the Gurudwara Guru Ka Taal crossing on the Sikandra highway. The speeding truck, coming from Transport Nagar, lost control due to its high speed, crashing into the auto rickshaw that was halted at a red light.
All the victims were passengers inside the auto rickshaw, which bore the brunt of the collision from behind around 3 pm. The impact of the accident was severe, leading to a significant traffic jam on the highway. Authorities had to delicately free the mangled remains of the auto, trapped beneath the truck, and subsequently remove the bodies one by one.
DCP Suraj Kumar Rai provided information about the incident, stating, "We received information that a truck and auto have collided on the National Highway. 5 people have died in the incident and one person is injured...
