Dipanwita Sarkar, an employee of the West Bengal Assembly, couldn't be happier when she received her iPhone. Interestingly, her iPhone, which was snatched almost 2.5 months ago on 24th April, was found in Bangladesh. As per the complaint field with police, Dipanwita was talking on the phone while going in the Maheshtala area when the phone was snatched by bike-borne snatchers.
In June, Dipanwita came to know that the phone was switched on in Chittagong, Bangladesh. After this, she sent an email through the embassy and told the entire thing to Bangladesh Police. Bangladesh Police finally tracked the phone and found it.
When Dipanwita got the phone back on 6th July after 75 days, her happiness knew no bounds. Dipanwita says that she is very happy to get the phone with the help of Bengal Police and Bangladesh Police. Dipanwita is working as a staff nurse in the medical department of the state assembly.
Dipanwita said that the intelligence department of Bangladesh police has recovered the phone very intelligently. It is known that there are always reports that expensive phones are smuggled to Bangladesh via India, Nepal, and Bhutan, and the phones are sold there at the desired price.
Due to the intelligence of Bangladesh police, Dipanwita's phone worth lakhs was finally recovered after 75 days and the happiness of this can be seen on her face.
