Stray bullet from Army shooting range hits farmer in Patna; investigation underway

A farmer was injured by a stray bullet in Patna, suspected to have been fired from a nearby Army shooting range during routine practice. The incident occurred on Monday morning in the Daudpur locality, under the Shahpur police station jurisdiction, when the victim, identified as Vijay, was working in his field.

City SP (West) Bhanu Pratap Singh promptly arrived at the scene along with the local Station House Officer (SHO). Prima facie, investigations suggest the bullet may have traveled a significant distance from the Army's shooting range located in Shahpur.
