In the latest episode of a concerning trend, another theft has occurred in Howrah's Jagatvallabhpur, causing anxiety among residents, businesses, and local authorities. Just two days after a government project suffered a loss of Rs 10 lakh worth of materials, thieves targeted a sanitary shop's warehouse in Patihal, Jagatballabpur.
The perpetrators made away with plastic pipes and materials valued at Rs 3 lakh from a parked car. The theft was captured on CCTV, but the miscreants, in an attempt to conceal their identity, broke the camera before fleeing the scene. Police are actively reviewing the CCTV footage to identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for the theft.
