Student forgets exam admit card in train, bag recovered in swift police action

In a distressing incident, Subhjit Mandal, a secondary student of Sarbariya TS Sanatan School, faced a moment of panic when he left his bag, containing the exam admit card and other essential items, in a train headed for Sealdah. The incident occurred on Friday morning at 7 am as Subhjit, accompanied by his mother, traveled from Gochran to Bahudu High School for his secondary examination seat.

Under the stress of appearing for his first major exam, Subhjit inadvertently left his bag in the train during the journey. Upon realizing the oversight, both the student and his mother became distraught, prompting Subhjit's mother to inform the headmaster of Bahudu High School and seek assistance from IC Parthasarathy Pal of Jaynagar police station.

Responding swiftly to the situation, the headmaster granted conditional permission for Subhjit to participate in the examination. IC Parthasarathy Pal, in collaboration with Jaynagar police station, located and recovered the bag from Karanjali railway station within two hours. The recovered bag, including the crucial exam admit card, was promptly handed over to Subhjit after the examination, relieving the student and his family from the ordeal.
