Special Branch Sub Inspector Jainendra Kumar Rajak tragically lost his life in a road accident near Amoi Bridge in the Mihijam police station area of Jamtara district. The incident occurred as Rajak was en route to the Jamtara Special Branch Office to submit his work report. A high-speed pickup van carrying fish collided head-on with Rajak's motorcycle, resulting in his immediate demise at the scene. Local witnesses promptly informed the Mihijam police station, leading to their swift response. They secured Rajak's body and transported it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination. Family members were notified and subsequently gathered at the hospital to mourn their loss.
Rajak, a 2018 batch recruit from Jharia in Dhanbad, had recently married in May, and was residing in Mihijam Damdoha. His sudden death has left his family devastated, prompting deep sorrow within the police department as well.
