The Supreme Court asked the Center to provide Z+ security cover to businessman Mukesh Ambani and his family. The Supreme Court in its order said that their security should be made available not only in Mumbai but also across the country and abroad.
The court said that industrialist Mukesh Ambani would bear the entire cost of this security measure.
On Tuesday, Justices Krishna Murari and Ahsanuddin Amanullah said that while Mukesh Ambani and his family would remain in India, the Maharashtra government and the home ministry would ensure their safety. And the home ministry should provide security measures for them when they travel abroad, the court said.
