Suspect caught in dual cases of minor girls' abduction in Jamshedpur and Seraikela-Kharsawan

A Bokaro youth has been arrested for allegedly abducting a minor girl from RIT thana area of ​​Adityapur in Seraikela-Kharsawan and another Manga youth is absconding in a similar case in the last 24 hours here.

In the case registered with RIT thana, the girl was found, but in another case, which was registered with Birsanagar thana, the abducted girl is missing.

According to the police, a 14-year-old girl who went out from her home in Zone No. 1 in Birsanagar on June 12 to attend classes has not returned. Family members searched for her in the vicinity, including relatives' houses, before lodging an FIR with Birsanagar thana on Wednesday.

Police said that the family members suspected that one Sandeep Dhabal Barua, a resident of Gaur Bustee in Mangu, might have kidnapped the minor for marriage. Currently, both the girl and the young man are missing.

In another case, the police on Thursday arrested a youth identified as Vikash Kumar from Sector VI Bokaro following an FIR filed by the girl's father at the RIT thana on June 13. The police also managed to recover a minor girl from the clutches of a kidnapper who abducted the victim for the purpose of marriage.
