Mamata awards 50 lakhs to female footballers of East Bengal team
Ahead of Ram Navami, Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari held a rally in Haldia on Sunday, urging Hindu voters in Bengal to mobilize, citing political shifts in Delhi and Maharashtra. Addressing the crowd, he stated, "If just 10% more Hindu voters turned out in Delhi, the results changed. Hindus have stepped out in Maharashtra, and now Bengal must wake up." His remarks come as BJP continues its voter outreach in the state, emphasizing Hindu consolidation ahead of elections. Haldia, where Adhikari addressed supporters, remains a key political region as parties intensify campaigns before upcoming polls.
