Despite his newfound fame, Dolly admits he initially mistook Gates for an ordinary foreigner and only realized his identity after the video circulated widely. Dolly expressed his astonishment, stating, "I was not aware at all... The next day when I returned to Nagpur then I came across 'Maine kisko chai pilaya.'"
Dolly, who learned his tea-making techniques from South Indian movies, shared his delight at Gates' appreciation of his tea, recounting the moment when Gates remarked, "'Wow, Dolly ki Chai.'" Following the viral video, Gates took to Instagram to share the experience, praising the innovation found in India, even in something as simple as preparing tea. Since gaining prominence, Dolly has expressed a desire to serve tea to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflecting his aspirations amidst newfound fame and recognition.
