Reconstruction of crime scene in Kasba as probe intensifies in Kolkata college student rape case
Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav has strongly condemned the controversial remarks made by Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Member of Parliament (MP) Dayanidhi Maran regarding Hindi-speaking individuals.
Yadav expressed his disapproval of leaders from other states making derogatory statements against people from different regions, emphasizing that such outbursts are entirely unacceptable. In a video circulating on social media, Maran allegedly made disparaging comments about those who study only Hindi in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, implying menial jobs in Tamil Nadu, while English speakers in Tamil Nadu secure high-paying positions in the IT sector.
Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, a leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), spoke out against Maran's remarks, highlighting the significance of social justice.
He asserted that if any leader from the DMK made derogatory statements about people from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, it should be condemned, emphasizing the integral role played by laborers from these states across the country. The controversy over Maran's comments adds to recent instances of inflammatory statements within the political landscape.
