Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav launched his 'Jan Vishwas Yatra' on Tuesday, seeking to garner trust and support from the people of Bihar ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Amidst escalating political activity across the country, Yadav's yatra aims to connect with voters and address their concerns, with a particular focus on countering Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's leadership.
The 'Jan Vishwas Yatra' marks Yadav's proactive approach to reestablishing his political presence in Bihar following the separation of the Grand Alliance and the formation of a new government with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Targeting 38 districts over an 11-day period, Yadav aims to engage with the electorate directly, highlighting issues of governance, stability, and visionary leadership, while also addressing two public meetings in Sitamarhi and Shivhar before concluding the day's activities in Motihari, East Champaran district headquarters.
