In a video circulating on social media, claims to be the CCTV footage has emerged showing the apparent killing of a man believed to be a high-profile terrorist associated with the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) group. While the exact date and time of the video remain unknown, the grainy CCTV footage shows a man shot from the back, walking on a street in Karachi with other people.
As soon as gun shots are fired, the other people run for cover, while the man who is shot, claimed by several people to be a most wanted terrorist named Qaiser Farooq, falls to the ground.
Qaiser Farooq is one of the founding members of the banned terrorist organization LeT and is closely linked to the mastermind behind the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, LeT chief Hafiz Saeed.
The emergence of this news and video coincides with reports suggesting the disappearance of Hafiz Saeed's son, Kamaluddin Saeed, who has allegedly gone missing since September 26 and that the ISI has been unable to locate him. According to sources, Kamaluddin Saeed was reportedly abducted in Peshawar by miscreants traveling in a car. It's noteworthy that Hafiz Saeed, a Pakistani national and the mastermind of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, is an internationally designated terrorist currently lodged in Pakistan's jail.
