Tina Ambani, the wife of renowned industrialist Anil Ambani, made her appearance today before the officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged violations of the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) related to foreign assets.
She presented herself at the ED office in Mumbai at 10 am this morning, where she was questioned by officials.
The nature and specific details of the alleged FEMA violations in which Tina Ambani is implicated have not been disclosed publicly, as the investigation is still ongoing. It is worth noting that Tina Ambani, formerly known as Tina Munim, has been actively involved in philanthropic and cultural pursuits, including her role as the chairperson of the Mumbai-based Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute.
The allegations are reportedly related to the Pandora Papers case.
