As the historic consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya approaches on January 22, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), responsible for managing the renowned Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, has announced its contribution of one lakh 'Srivari Laddus' for the ceremony.
The 'Srivari Laddu,' a famous prasad from the Tirupati temple, will be distributed to guests, devotees, and VVIPs attending the event. The TTD executive officer AV Dharma Reddy mentioned in a press conference that this gesture is a goodwill offering to mark the auspicious occasion.
The guest list for the consecration ceremony, organized by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra trust, exceeds 7,000 individuals, including politicians, Bollywood celebrities, cricketers, industrialists, and foreigners.
The ceremony holds significance for followers of Sanatan Dharma, and the TTD sees its participation as an opportunity to promote Hindu religion, culture, and values. Noteworthy attendees include actors Arun Govil and Deepika Chikhalia, renowned for portraying Lord Ram and Goddess Sita in the iconic TV serial 'Ramayana.'
