In a heartbreaking incident in Ward No. 23 of Titagarh Municipality, 18-year-old Sujal Hela lost his life after a collision with a police jail van in front of Titagarh Police Station. The tragic incident occurred as Sujal was riding a scooter on the road, and a police prison van, reportedly traveling at high speed, struck him. Following the collision, Sujal fell from the scooter, prompting local residents and the police to rush him to Sagar Dutt Medical College. Unfortunately, the doctors on duty declared Sujal dead, causing distress in the community.
The incident led to heightened emotions in the area, with a significant number of local residents blocking the road in protest. Law enforcement later intervened to manage the situation. Sujal's family members are seeking government assistance, asserting that he was the youngest son of the family, and they are in need of support.
